Could use some thought

Is there any way to get rid of the adds. Im assuming this App was designed for an IPhone 5 size screen. I have an iPhone 4, I cant really use the app because not enough screen space. Take all that black space with buttons and advertisements from the top so we can see the Map from OUR phone.
